Brief
Redesign a web page. Create wireframes and a prototype in Adobe XD.
Solution
From my analysis of the existing website I realized the header and navigation needed more structure. The E-commerce store I chose to redesign has a lot of categories and products and it was a challenge to fit all the information in but still keep the design clean and easy to navigate. This sparked an idea to design a mega dropdown menu. A solution that made it possible to display more information when hovering a category which could be helpful for new customers.
I wanted the website to have more focus on lifestyle to bring more user value. This is why I also put in a section with links to the latest blog posts.
On the category pages I moved filtering to the top instead of the left to create a more airy design.
I also redesigned the brands logo and visual identity.
